Still Loving Christopher Lee!
Dear all,
A little background of him:
Christopher Lee (his Chinese name is Lee Ming Soon) is borned on 23 July 1971 in Malaysia.
He was the first runner-up in the male category in Singapore Star Search 1995, the largest talent search programme in Singapore. Since then, he secured an acting contract. He acted in many local and overseas shows. He also ventured into acting in movies, hosting and singing.
One of his very popular shows is "The Return of the Condor Heroes" in 1998, where he took up a lead role as "Yang Guo".
Having said the above..
I just realised that I supported him for 14 years and still going... He is still the No. 1 actor in my heart.
What I LOVE about Christopher Lee's Personality:
He is outgoing, humourous, generous, gentlemanly and direct (no faking!). He is really a good guy! He is also a romantic guy who is very Zhun yi in his love life. He said this in his solo album in 1999: "I will not allow any third party to be in the way of my love relationship. I have to be responsible to my partner."
By the way, he got married last year (in 2009). Congrats!
All the best christopher Lee! I'll support you forever! =)

Ji De Chi
Hi everyone,
My boyfriend and i went to Ji De Chi, a Hong Kong styled Dessert shop, located in Jurong Point (at The Market Place, Level 3) last friday. It is one of the three branches in Singapore. For those who love Hong Kong Desserts (but can't fly over to Hong Kong to eat them), you may like to visit one of the branches.
The overall store ambience is rather simple and neat. The staff are friendly & we didn't wait long for the desserts. The Hong Kong dessert choices was plentiful, with some unique combinations.
We tried the Yam Paste and Steamed Egg White and peanut.
My Food Review:
Yam Paste - It does not taste oily or too sweet. Suitable for people who don't go for too sweet stuff. I give it 3.5/5.0.
Steamed Egg White and peanut - This is one of the unique combinations in the store. There is peanut paste underneath the steamed egg white. For those who love peanut, you may like to try something new. I give it 4.0/5.0.
Here are the pictures I took:
Next time, I want to try the Mango Pomelo Sago (i heard it is rather popular). If you tried it before, please feel free to leave your kind comments. Till then! =)

Food for Thought
Hi everyone,
I went to "Food for Thought" outlet at 8 Queen Street with my friend (by her recommendation) on last friday about 4pm. She was eating at the next door Standing Sushi Bar the other time. "Food for Thought" is located near to the Singapore Management University Admin Building.
Let me comment a bit on the brand name. I found the information on their website. The store is called "Food for Thought" because it is a social enterprise. The store owners hopes to provide a happy place with great food at a fair price where people can have great chats, find new friends and discover simple ways to give back to the local and global community. Apparently, their mission is to invest a minimum 10% of our profits into the following five areas of interest:
1) Support Clean Water
2) Feed Good Food
3) Help End Poverty (I really want to end poverty too!)
4) Educate the People
5) Encourage Good Acts
The store exterior is really nice and it looks cozy from outside. It seems rather clean, simple and cozy when we stepped inside. The staff were well-mannered. I like the witch hats that they were wearing (Halloween mood!!).
We ordered these dishes for our late lunch (the menu is available on their website):
1) Basil Almond Pesto Chicken Linguine (My Lovely friend's order)
Food Review:
A healthy dish generally. I took one mouth of it. The taste of herbs is rather strong. It would not be fair if I give a score to it since I had a mouth. But my friend seems to enjoy it.
2) House Works. It consists of Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Toasted Brioche, Hash Brown
with Roasted Tomato Salad
Food Review:
I love the scrambled eggs. It is really creamy. For the bacon, it is very crispy and thinly sliced. The hash brown were in the shapes of balls. It tastes quite good. The salad is standard. The main selling point for me after eating this dish is the toasted brioche. Oh my god! It is really nice. One can't help but wonder whether it is a bread or a cake when eating. Overall I give it a 4/5.
Anyway, I was curious about how they donate proceeds to those in need. So I asked the waiter (he is a little blur!), but I managed to find out that patrons can put money in a box for their Give Clean Water Fund. Of course I choose to do so.
These are the photos we took.
