Dear all,
Never say never by Justin Bieber is really a nice song. You can feel the lyrics if you watched the show - "Karate Kid" with Jaden Smith, being the lead child actor.
For those who missed the movie "Karate Kid", you get to see the hot screenshots of the movie in the Never say never video.
I have posted the video here:

In fact anything in the sun which I consider fun to our lives will be blogged on.
My personal interests are in food, singing, dancing and photography.
I may be introducing themes of the month in the future. =)

Olio Cafe & Coffee Club at Marina Square!
Hi all, =)
If you were wondering what Western restaurants or cafes are available at Marina Square, you may be interested in the following.
I went to have dinner at Olio Cafe at Marina Square with my bf just now.
The cafe ambience is relatively up-class I would say. However, when I looked at the menu, the prices are not as expensive as I thought (Slightly above average; Main courses are in the range of $12 - $20). The photos of the food look appetizing, so we decided to have our meal there.
I took a few pictures (posted below).
Here is my review of the meal:
Persian masala chicken - In my opinion, the meal may not be enough for a guy. The chicken tastes rather average.
Black pepper lot burger - It has a beef patty so I couldn't eat it. I stopped eating beef since I was about 12. But my bf's review was that the burger was average. The beef patty was rather dry. The fries were really nice (crispy), but eat them while they are still hot (if not, they will turn a little hard).
Overall, it was a fairly average meal. I give it 3/5.
Next, I was craving for Tiramisu Cake since yesterday. Hence, we explored cafes in Marina Square. We went to Starbucks, Secret Recipes to check out if they serve Tiramisu. Nope, they don't serve it. Then we thought of checking out Coffee Club.
To my delight, Coffee Club serves Tiramisu Cake (called Tiramisu Trip). I find the atmosphere (in the atrium) really relaxing. Hence, we went in to take a seat.
Here are the photos I took (posted below).
To my surprise, Coffee club's menu has a huge variety of choices. And there are a number of unique dishes and drinks.
Here is my personal review:
Mocha Tropicana - Mocha with a rather heavy fruity aftertaste.
Banana Butterscotch Latte - It made the coffee rather smooth to drink, less bitter for those who are not a coffee drinker. 2 or 3 dry slices of banana are placed on top of the latte. Not a bad combination, but I would still prefer the original latte (since I enjoy a little bitterness).
Tiramisu Trip - Not as good as I had expected. It might be due to not enough alcohol in the tiramisu.
Muddy Mud Pie - Coffee ice cream stacked on top of chocolate ice cream, on a layer of chocolate crust. Chocolate syrup was all over the Mud pie. Overall it tastes good. I especially like the chocolate crust.
Overall, I give our meal 4/5. Not a bad place to hang out and chat.

A Great Dinner at Chili's!
Hi all, =)
I spent a wonderful night with my friends at Sentosa yesterday. We wanted to visit the Universal Studios Singapore at Sentosa (Hollywood After Hours). However, when we went there, we were told it was closed for an private event. Oh my, mistake on our parts for not checking properly I guess.
Hollywood After Hours opens from 7 to 10pm every friday and saturday for only $5 per ticket. Contrast with if you were to go there in the day (anytime 10am to 7pm), the ticket cost is about $60 for Adult and $50 for Child. However, only a portion of the Universal Studios Singapore (Hollywood Zone) is opened up for Hollywood After Hours. The main purpose of going there is to take photos, dine and shop with your family members/friends.
Anyway, plan B was to have a good meal, take photos and shop around. For dinner, we went to Chili's (somewhere outside the Universal Studios Singapore). It was a great dinner considering the food, ambience and my company! You will be spoilt for choices, there are a lot of variety. The food was not too bad, slightly above my expectations. The price was a little steep. Well, you have to spoil yourself once in a while!
For those who are interested in knowing the price. This is what we ordered (four of us):
Caesar salad, Mashed potato (side dish), Monterey chicken (main course), Smoked turkey sandwich served with fries and a glass of white wine.
The total bill is about $90.
My review of Chili's at Sentosa is 4/5. It's really worth trying!

Resident Evil: Afterlife movie review
Hi all, =)
I just watched Resident Evil 4 yesterday. The general plot of the movie was not bad.
But I feel that some parts of the movie were filmed in a different way compared to the previous Resident Evil stories. An example, the Matrix like animation of the fighting scene between the evil representative of the Umbrella Corporation and Alice. Please feel free to add your comments in the chatbox.
Throughout the entire movie, I was very agitated by the evilness of the Umbrella Corporation. You have to watch the movie and tell me if you feel the same!
An hour into the movie, I was pondering about how to save the world by killing all the zombies in the World. An idea popped in my head. I was thinking why won't the Umbrella Corporation invest in building Robots? I believe they have the resources to do so, instead of wasting resources on irrelevant actions like "enslaving" humans. Then again, there is the ethical debate of whether we should kill all the mindless zombies. After all, they were once humans. I wish I have an answer, but it's really up to discretion. Perhaps robots can be used for defending against the zombies to safeguard the only humans left in the world.
Well, enough said. On the whole, I give the movie 4/5. Watch the movie for yourself!

Learn How to Cook Scrambled Eggs!
Hi all,
I love to eat scrambled eggs! So I went to Youtube to search around for nice videos. I looked at 5 videos. So far, I found this video to be the best! The scrambled eggs cooked look really nice! You want your scrambled eggs to look appealing, don't you?
I have posted the video here. In case you find trouble viewing it, here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGyb7uBXe9E&feature=related
After looking at several videos, here are some important tips that I have learnt:
1. Use unsalted butter or oil to coat your pan (Butter will taste better I think)
2. Add water to your eggs after cracking the eggs
3. Do not add salt into your cracked eggs as it will break down the protein of the eggs (You can add the salt in when your eggs are almost cooked)
4. The control of heat is important when you cook. Medium heat will do.
Hope you all love it! =)

Step up 3 is great!
Hi everyone, =)
I love to dance (although I haven't been dancing for quite some time). If you are like me, you have to watch the movie Step Up 3! It is available in 2D as well as 3D.
What I like about Step Up 3 is the story gets more and more exciting as I watched it! At first, I thought that moose's (actor: Adam G. Sevani) dance moves are fine, not that great. But eventually I realised he is a guy who can really sweep you off your feet with his dance moves. Really cool! The second and third battle in the movie is awesome.
Here is the link of the trailer from Youtube (The movie is better than the trailer):
